I kept trying to be the one who helps.
Fix it. Carry it. Take it on.
And somewhere in that, I lost track of myself.

“I see my shadow when I burn bright
Burning out to fuel the light”

I bought that.
The idea that you keep pushing and it will mean something in the end.

“Like those before
I bought the lie
That heroes fall
But never die”

But heroes do die.
Death is the great equalizer.
You burn out and your contribution fades.

“We all will die, that much is true
Over time, forgotten too”

So what’s left?

Each breath.
This moment.

“I’m reaching out for help this time
No perfect plan
No pride of mine”

Letting go of the role.
Paying attention to what’s real.

“So let each breath be your truth
Savor your life as precious proof”

Your life (yes yours!) is worth more than the part you’re trying to play (or the approval you are so desperately seeking.)

So go easy on yourself today. And let me know how you like the new single?

Heroes Fall But Never Die?

Heroes Fall But Never Die?

This May the 4th, I’m reflecting on Star Wars, heroism, burnout, and self-worth alongside the release of my new single, "Heroes Fall But Never Die?" on streaming platforms, a new song built around an honest question about sacrifice, meaning, and what actually makes a life matter.

A Map of Maybe

A Map of Maybe

Map of Maybe launches a narrative shanty project about growth, uncertainty, and identity. Set at sea, it invites you to see your own journey reflected in a crew searching without a map. The full 7-song EP will stream everywhere on April 3rd.

By The Sea

By The Sea

When my mind runs a thousand miles an hour, I go to the sea. 🌊 This song is about finding significance in stillness.

Together At Last

Together At Last

What better way to kick off a set than with a song about shared creativity? I wrote this one to capture that feeling of anticipation you get when you roll up your sleeves and let reservation give way to expression.

Why not keep in touch, yeah?
