A cinematic alternative rock anthem about loneliness, longing, and the search for something beautiful.
Releases July 17. 2026 on streaming platforms.
About the Single
There are nights when a city feels full of people and empty at the same time.
“I don’t think loneliness is always the absence of people. Sometimes it’s the presence of an unanswered longing.”
“Can’t Be Found” was written after countless walks through Dublin, passing strangers, music spilling into the streets, and thousands of stories brushing against my own.
The song begins as a search for connection. As it unfolds, the search becomes less certain as a realization emerges: sometimes what we’re longing for isn’t another person at all but something only we can provide for ourselves.
Inspired by darker more rebellious sounds like Muse, “Can’t Be Found” blends cinematic alternative rock with quiet vulnerability and explosive release.
“I don’t want to tell listeners what this song means. I want them to discover themselves inside it.”
If this song helps someone feel a little less alone, then it found exactly who it was written for. 🤘

Full Lyrics
I fear the loneliness
Taking control
I dont want to feel this
Anymore
So come and look inside
The saviors of my soul
I dont know anywhere
I can go
So sit and wait a while
Shadow and soul
Shadow and soul
I don't know anyone
In this foreign town
Roaming free tonight
And I just cant be found
Where will you
Where will you
Go tonight
Here i am looking for
Something beautiful
Deep inside
On my own
This is my last
Walk alone
My last walk alone
Where have you
Where have you
Gone so long ago
I still cant see you now
I'm losing control
Here I am
Here I am
Here I am
Here I am
Find me
Look for me tonight
I'll be right there
Out of sight
Just over there
And everywhere
You are
You are

About Chris Lafe King
Every song starts with a question. I explore ideas around connection, identity, curiosity, and the beautifully messy parts of being human. I love experimenting with different genres and pushing myself as a songwriter, vocalist, and producer so each story finds its own sound.
